Halo 2 updates, etc.

On Monday, April 18th, Bungie released a much anticipated update to Halo 2. This update fixed various glitches, addressed bugs, and modified the weapons slightly. All in all, I think that this update was great. However, browsing through Bungie’s forums, it appears quite a few people were initially upset about the update. I guess you can’t please everyone.

Then, on Monday, April 25th, they released four new multiplayer maps. Two were free (Warlock and Containment) and two were not (Sanctuary and Turf). They were all designed very well, and I think that the $5.99 for the other two is a small price to pay.

Next monday, they update the multiplayer playlists. I am very impressed by Bungie’s moves lately. They’re really listening to their customers and adding new content. Excellent game made by excellent developers.

JB: Just a checkin’ out the stats, you got that dadburned “invalid transmission” again! I remember when our old ‘56 GMC pickup had that!!! It used to get stuck in granny gear and you couldn’t go over 7 or 7 1/2 mph all the way to Granny’s house!

Wayne: Yeah, I think the problem was that Bungie’s stats site was down on Friday. They have the stats back up, and it seems to work again.

Did you try to play last night? Finger Gin Tut, ActionYak and I tried to get into Team Slayer games, kept getting “You do not have the map needed to play this game, check downloads” or something to that effect. We gave up and played Custom in new maps.

JB: Now you have to re-format the stats page to fit all the different categories…..

Will you stop playing around with your new house and get back on Halo. I need adults to talk to!!
Seriously, the kids are driving me crazy!

BTW, I helped get someone banned the other day. We played these guys in Warlock, and they beat us 50-8. One of them admitted to using “Action Replay” or something like that. One guy could jump 50 to 100 fett up in the air and the other could kill you with two shots from a battle rifle.

I turned multiple feedbacks for cheating, an dnow when you check the one guy CryBabysWinHalo he shows as no games played.
