WordPress 2.0.1

Today, the maintenance release 2.0.1 for the popular blogging software, WordPress was released. This milestone closes 114 bugs and addresses issues with caching, XML-RPC uploading, permalinks, memory usage on imports, etc.

    what a difference between WordPress and Blogger … there’s no comparison in ease of use!

    Although I’ve never used Blogger, I just really like the flexibility of WordPress. There are others out there like TypePad by SixApart, or b2 evolved — but I just like that WP is free, flexible, secure, and is still under active development.

    Blogger is great for people getting started with blogs or those without webspace — but in my opinion is lacking a lot of the really great things that make WP what it is.
